Comcast BLOWS
That is the picture I was getting on my TV earlier. Now I'm just not getting any. No that is not a black band going across the TV due to the refresh rate of the TV. That is the actual picture on the TV due to poor signal I am getting or something of that nature...
On Friday, the DVR feature on my Comcast DCT 3416 stopped working. I think the hard drive broke. Fine. So I went and exchanged the box for another one today.
After spending 2 hours of doing what I usually do every time I get a new device from Comcast (plug it in CORRECTLY, activate, wait 10 minutes, reboot the box because it didn't work, repeat several time on my own, then a few more times with Comcast tech support on the phone), the answer I got from the Comcast tech support is that I got another faulty device. So I have to go back and get another box tomorrow. The alternative is to schedule an appointment for the technician to come out. We know what happens. They don't show up when they're supposed to, and they do the same thing you could have done on your own except you just missed hours of work. Bump that.
I hate Comcast.
To be continued...

There's a great Seinfeld episode that centers around poor cable tv support. However, I'd like to throw out the idea that it could be Panaphonic's fault. You know how much I love them!
I agree- Comcast does suck. If your Comcast’s not working for you (which apparently it isn't), you should try this great new email provider that my friend just got me hooked on. It's called BigString (http://bigstring.com), the new free webmail program. It offers revolutionary features. When you send mail from your BigString free email account, you are protected. BigString is like an automatic shredder for your email. You can self-destruct or change an email that's already been sent or read. Don't leave your messages sitting in peoples' inbox forever.
Try it! Enjoy :)
