Yesterday, I called Bellanina Day Spa hoping to get an appointment for a bikini wax sometime next week or the week after that. To my HORROR, I found out that my esthetician lady's last day is this Saturday!!! You don't understand. I love this lady. I mean she pretties up my coochie.
So I squeezed in an appointment today during lunch. I was going to ask her to recommend someone for me. But then she told me that she can still perform the same services (twss), but she'll be working at Middlebelt Laser, which I guess is in Livonia. Shit. I'll go to Livonia for that.
Ok, so I imagine most of you who are reading this pretty much has a "wtf" look to your face right now and thinking just that. Sorry!

Painful Addiction
Today, I will talk about my painful addiction. Love. HAHAHAHA, I'm just kidding. As Homer would say, I kill me (from the "The Springfield Files" episode).
Anyway, I'm going to write about bikini wax! Brazilian bikini wax at that. Why? Because I'm about the only person I know who would write about such things. This is why I'm going to die a (born again) virgin. Well, who knows, maybe some person will will benefit from reading this blog post. :) You never know!
So I don't know when this addiction started. A few months ago. I go to Bellanina in Kerrytown. There's a Hungarian esthetician there and she is the best. To all you ladies and dudes out there who is considering doing this at home, DON'T DO IT! (DO NOT WANT!)
During my last visit, my esthetician told me nightmare stories. She said this one lady tried to do it at home, and ended up getting 7 stitches! She also witnessed a botched waxing job during a demo at some conference on a man's scrotum and he needed 8 stitches... She explained to me that you must use hard wax for super sensitive areas. Most kits only come with soft wax.
Anyway, I recommend going to a professional to get these things done. But I warn you, they're addictive! I don't even know why! Sure it hurts a little, but totally worth it.
